BNSOL Joins the Jito (Re)staking Ecosystem
Fragmetric has recently collaborated with Binance to bring BNSOL, Binance's liquid staking token for Solana, into the Jito (Re)staking ecosystem.
What is BNSOL and Why Does It Matter?
As a centralized exchange, Binance offers BNSOL to provide users with liquidity while their SOL is staked, allowing them to engage in DeFi activities without waiting for the standard unstaking period. This approach enables users to trade, lend, or utilize their staked assets across various Binance products and external DeFi applications, all while still earning staking rewards. Due to Binance's extensive user base and influence, BNSOL holds significant weight in the Solana liquid staking token (LST) ecosystem, bridging the gap between centralized services and decentralized finance opportunities.
Aligning with Fragmetric’s Mission for Decentralization
Integrating BNSOL into Fragmetric aligns seamlessly with our mission to decentralize and enhance the security of the Solana ecosystem. By incorporating BNSOL into our Guardian Fund, we aggregate SOL and LSTs to maximize network security and secure offchain services via restaking. This integration reinforces Fragmetric’s position as the Liquid Restaking Station for all LSTs, empowering users to maximize their yields using their preferred tokens. Additionally, it enables the SANG (SolanA Network Guard) to easily participate in restaking, transforming members into active guardians of the Solana ecosystem.

Starting from Phase 1, Cap 2—which opens at 13:30 UTC on November 18—SANG will be able to restake their BNSOL on Fragmetric.
